Volleyball Recap: Warren Gets the Win

Warren won the last time they faced Morgan and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Warriors came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Warren was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 22-25, 25-17, 25-21.

Elayna Greenwalt paced Warren's offense, picking up 20 kills. Greenwalt got some help from Mya Stemple and her 54 assists. Greenwalt was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Warren's victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Morgan, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

Warren will venture away from home to challenge Parkersburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Morgan, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Sheridan on the 2nd.
