Baseball Recap: Mogadore's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Mogadore had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 5-2 win over the Aquinas Knights. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-0 on Monday.

Mogadore saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landen Williams, who went 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Another was Jake Hopkins, who went 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Mogadore's record is now 3-11. As for Aquinas, they dropped their record down to 2-11 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Mogadore will host John F. Kennedy Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Aquinas, they are taking a road trip to face off against Southeast at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Pirates' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Knights' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
