Calhoun Academy put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over the Thomas Sumter Academy Generals. The Cavaliers' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last four matchups.

Treven Gebhart was excellent, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Cullen Sightler, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Calhoun Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .450. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Thomas Sumter Academy only posted a batting average of .000.

Calhoun Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Thomas Sumter Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
