The Goretti Gael on the road again on Saturday and play against the North Point Eagles at 3:00 p.m. on January 20th. Goretti has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Even though Berlin Brothersvalley scored an imposing 61 points on Sunday, Goretti still came out on top. Goretti walked away with a 68-61 win over Berlin Brothersvalley.
Kilah Dandridge was her usual excellent self, scoring 24 points along with two steals. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Danica Bennett was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, North Point had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.2 points), and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They came out on top against St. Charles by a score of 40-32.
Goretti has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for North Point, they pushed their record up to 8-4 with that win, which was their eighth straight on the road.
