The Immanuel Christian Crusaders are taking a road trip to challenge the Legacy Christian Academy Lions at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
On Monday, Immanuel Christian got the win against Rosamond by a conclusive 23-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Crusaders.

Abigail Barham made a splash no matter where she played. She tossed five innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one double.
In other batting news, Immanuel Christian let Ava Blakie and Chloe Loughlin run wild. Blakie went 4-for-5 with one home run, four runs, and four RBI, while Loughlin went 3-for-4 with two triples, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most runs Loughlin has posted since back in March. Charlotte Cabrera was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.
Immanuel Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive matches.
Fans were treated to a battle of the Lions on Tuesday. Legacy Christian Academy put the hurt on Wonderful College Prep Academy with a sharp 18-2 victory. The win continues a trend for Legacy Christian Academy in their matchups with Wonderful College Prep Academy: they've now won three in a row.
Emily Kahana was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Houchin, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
Immanuel Christian's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-5. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.2 runs over those games. As for Legacy Christian Academy, their record now sits at 5-7.
Legacy Christian Academy's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Monday. Immanuel Christian has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.1 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Legacy Christian Academy, though, as they've been averaging only 4 strikeouts. Will Immanuel Christian keep running through batters, or will the Lions buck the trend?
Immanuel Christian took their victory against Legacy Christian Academy when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 23-1 score.
