UMS-Wright Prep came out on top against Robertsdale on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run first inning. The Bulldogs blew past the Golden Bears 10-4. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by six runs or more this season.

UMS-Wright Prep pushed their record up to 16-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.3 runs over those games. As for Robertsdale, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. UMS-Wright Prep will square off against Excel at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Robertsdale, they will challenge Brewer at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Patriots' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Golden Bears' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
