The Piscataway Vo-Tech Raiders had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They took down Dunellen 56-37 on Friday. That's another feather in the cap for Piscataway Vo-Tech, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Despite the defeat, Dunellen saw an underclassman step up: Jamael Davis scored 16 points along with eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ryan Hutchins, who scored nine points.
Piscataway Vo-Tech's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Dunellen, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-1.
Piscataway Vo-Tech won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against West Windsor-Plainsboro North on December 16th. Dunellen will be home for the holidays to greet Roselle Park at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
