First Colonial had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. They never let the Landstown Eagles get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The Patriots have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

First Colonial pushed their record up to 11-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.9 runs over those games. As for Landstown, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. First Colonial is set to face off against their familiar foe Tallwood at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Landstown will challenge rival Princess Anne at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Eagles 3.9, the Cavaliers 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
