Canyon Lake waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Cole Cougars as they made off with a 14-6 victory. With that win, Canyon Lake brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

Archer Miller looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits.

At the plate, Canyon Lake let Michael Anderson and Gram Simpson run wild. Anderson got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs, four RBI, and one double, while Simpson scored two runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. That's the most runs Anderson has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucas Schexnayder, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Canyon Lake kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 12 hits in three consecutive matchups.

Canyon Lake's record is now 16-3-1. As for Cole, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.

Coming up, Canyon Lake will challenge Comfort at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Canyon Lake is facing Comfort at the right time seeing as Comfort is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Cole, they will square off against Randolph at 5:00 p.m. on March 25th. Randolph is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.
