After 12 games on the road, Louise is heading back home. They will finish 2023 at home by hosting the Tidehaven Tigers at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Louise will be strutting in after a victory while Tidehaven will be coming in after a loss.
Even though Louise has not done well against Schulenburg recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Louise managed a 40-36 victory over Schulenburg. The win was just what Louise needed coming off of a 61-30 defeat in their prior contest.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Tidehaven's good fortune finally ran out last Saturday. The match between Tidehaven and Edna wasn't particularly close, with Tidehaven falling 56-41. While losing is never fun, Tidehaven can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 786th, while Edna is ranked 364th).
Louise's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-10. As for Tidehaven, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-7.
Louise might still be hurting after the 47-21 loss they got from Tidehaven when the teams last played back in November. Will Louise have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get analysis of the match and other basketball content.
