The Central Rebels stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They really took it to Fredericktown for the full four quarters, racking up a 70-38 victory on the road. With Central ahead 37-14 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Central had a senior duo take command as Jobe Bryant almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine assists and Caden Casey scored 22 points along with five rebounds and five steals. Bryant is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 16 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Zack Boyd, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
Central's win bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Fredericktown, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.
Central's road trip will continue as they head out to face Kingston at 7:00 p.m. on February 9th. Central knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matchups -- so hopefully Kingston likes a good challenge. As for Fredericktown, they will head out on the road to challenge St. Vincent at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
