Volleyball Recap: Pioneer Wins Going Away Against Sacramento

Pioneer's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. Everything went their way against the Sacramento Dragons as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Dragons recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Pioneer never let Sacramento on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-19, 25-23.

Pioneer's victory bumped their record up to 6-12. As for Sacramento, their loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pioneer will venture away from home to take on Vacaville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Sacramento, they will face off against Foothill at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
