When it comes to explaining why Providence Academy lost on Friday, one person who can't be blamed is Kinley Painter. Despite the final result, she scored 24 points along with six rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Painter has scored all season.
The victory got Lakeway Christian Academy back to even at 9-9. As for Providence Academy, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Concord Christian the next time they take the court. Lakeway Christian Academy will head out to face Concord Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Providence Academy will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
