There's no place like home for the Duchesne Eagles, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Wednesday. They came out on top against South Sevier by a score of 67-55 on Friday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
When it comes to explaining why South Sevier lost, one person who can't be blamed is Slade Summerhays. Despite the final result, he scored 11 points. Stockton Roberts was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Duchesne now has a winning record of 5-4. As for South Sevier, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-4.
Duchesne will head out on the road to face off against Union at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Union is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak. South Sevier will be home for the holidays to greet Water Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
