There's no place like home for New Buffalo, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They blew past the Countryside Academy Cougar 71-27 on Friday. The Bison have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 26 points or more this season.

New Buffalo's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lucas Forker, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine boards. Forker has been hot, having posted 16 or more points the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Trevor James, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 13 points and five rebounds.

New Buffalo smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in four consecutive contests.

New Buffalo pushed their record up to 10-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.6 points per game. As for Countryside Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-9-1.

New Buffalo will welcome Michigan Lutheran at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Michigan Lutheran is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 65.3 points per game this season. As for Countryside Academy, they will venture away from home to square off against Covert at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Countryside Academy is facing Covert at the right time seeing as Covert is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
