League leaders Colbert County (3-0 in 3A Area 16 play, 7-4 overall) and
Mars Hill Bible (2-0, 3-0) will look to grab hold of first place in the standings this week. Last week, the Indians went 5-1, while the Panthers was 1-0.
Clements boasted the best pitching over the past week, holding opponents to the league's fewest hits and issuing the fewest walks.
The league boasted five .400 hitters over the past week. The group was paced by Cole White, who collected 15 hits in 33 at bats for a .455 average.
The Colts'
Caleb Sherrill racked up six RBIs this week, more than any other hitter. He now stands at ten RBIs on the season, which puts him second in the league.
