This season hasn't been kind to The Calhoun Red Devils, who are still winless after their tenth matchup. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 29-6 walloping at the hands of Madonna on Friday.
Madonna found their leader in underclassman Mathew Geer, who rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown, and also caught a touchdown. Chase Littleton also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Calhoun's defeat was their 11th straight at home (dating back to last season), which bumped their record down to 0-10. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 10-0 Williamstown and 10-0 Wahama (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 67.4% over those games). As for Madonna, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-4.
Calhoun does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Madonna also has no future games currently scheduled.
