After flying high against the Hamilton Marines last Thursday, the Prairie Heights Panthers came back down to earth. Prairie Heights took a serious blow against East Noble on Tuesday, falling 68-24. Prairie Heights has struggled against East Noble recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
East Noble got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Averi Amstutz out in front who scored 11 points along with six assists. Ellisyn Will was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Prairie Heights has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for East Noble, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-6.
Prairie Heights will be playing in front of their home fans against Fremont at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. East Noble won't have much time to rest: their next game is against DeKalb at 6:00 p.m. on January 17th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (DeKalb is ranked 93rd, while East Noble is ranked 104th).
