Savannah Rester continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 18 points. She hasn't dropped below 15points for three straight games. Kassie Abrahamson was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Hallsville suffered their biggest defeat since December 1, 2023 last Wednesday. They had to suffer through a rough 57-26 loss at the hands of Boonville. While losing is never fun, Hallsville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 244th, while Boonville is ranked 66th).
Sunnydale Academy's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points per game. As for Hallsville, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.
