They took a 54-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Annapolis Christian Academy. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Founders Classical Academy of the 62-50 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.
Founders Classical Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aslan Whyle, who scored 16 points along with three steals. Ledger Perrette was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with two steals.
Founders Classical Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for Annapolis Christian Academy, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-7.
Founders Classical Academy will be playing at home against Great Hearts Monte Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Annapolis Christian Academy will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Humble Christian at 7:15 p.m. on January 19th.
