Northland Prep Academy's game  on Monday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Wednesday. They walked away with  a   16-13  win over the Tuba City Warriors. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Spartans' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
 Ryliegh LaFave made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out nine batters over  seven innings while giving up  four earned  (and nine unearned) runs off   nine  hits. LaFave was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances with four  runs and one  stolen base.

 In other batting news,  Audre Wilson was  incredible,  firing off two  home runs, nine  RBI,  and five  runs while going 5-for-5. Those  nine  RBI gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Wren Gutt-Ohly, who  got on base  in four of her five plate appearances with four  runs and one  RBI.
 Northland Prep Academy  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .643. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tuba City only posted  an  OBP of  .447.
The  victory snapped Northland Prep Academy's losing streak at three games  and leaves them with a 6-5 record. As for Tuba City, their defeat was  their third straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 7-15.
 Coming up, Northland Prep Academy will head out to  take on Round Valley  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Spartans will need to watch out since the Elks have now posted at least ten  runs  in their last six matchups. Tuba City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
