Grant is on a three-game streak of home wins, while McDaniel is on a five-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Generals will host the Mountain Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Grant is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.
Grant had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the nine-run drubbing they dealt Roosevelt on Wednesday. The Generals were the clear victors by a 15-6 margin over the Roughriders.

She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI.
In other batting news, Grant got a massive performance out of Anya Rumage, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Gwyn Gerber, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base.
Meanwhile, McDaniel unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They lost 13-3 to Cleveland. Surprisingly, this marked the third straight game in which the away team has come away the victor in this series.
