As a matter of fact, that's the most points Whited has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Markylla Jones, who scored eight points along with 12 rebounds and six steals.
Montezuma-Cortez is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Bayfield, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
