Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Garner). Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2024 than the 61-8 stomp they got against the Moran Bulldogs. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Longhorns had established a 48 point advantage.

The win snapped Garner's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-9 record. As for Moran, their defeat was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-11.

Garner didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 37-23 victory against Bluff Dale on the 30th. As for Moran, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Gordon on the 3rd.
