The Ada Cougars's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They fell to Harrah 49-45. Ada was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2020.
Despite the defeat, Ada saw an underclassman step up: Sadie Epps scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Ava Campos, who scored seven points.
Ada's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Harrah, their win bumped their record up to 11-7.
Ada will be playing in front of their home fans against the Falcons at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Millwood has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Harrah, they will head out on the road to square off against the Chieftains at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Seminole will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings (they are ranked 396th, while the Panthers are ranked 187th).
