Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Broward Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Raul Perez ruiz, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which Perez ruiz has scored at least a third of North Broward Prep's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Enrico Borio, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds.
St. John Paul II Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for North Broward Prep, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-4.
St. John Paul II Academy will head out on the road to challenge King's Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (King's Academy is ranked 217th, while St. John Paul II Academy is ranked 223rd). As for North Broward Prep, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against American Heritage at 5:30 p.m.
