The biggest upset of the week belonged to Franklin, who took down 43rd ranked Franklin, 41-21.
Tyler Troxell and Anthony Guarino provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Union. The longest such play in Mid-State 38 - Delaware this season, the connection resulted in 80 yards.
Phillipsburg's dynamic duo of Troxell and Guarino proved tough for the Farmers to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Troxell threw for 151 yards and one touchdown and Guarino had 89 yards receiving. Alex Martin helped Phillipsburg's passing attack out by catching four balls for 74 yards.
Jason Cabinda was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 26 carries, he ran for 198 yards as Hunterdon Central fell to Union. Jonathan Delello also contributed to the rushing game with 87 yards on the ground.
The Red Devils' Michael Knight and Ryan Dunleavy have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Knight has thrown for 436 yards this season, while Dunleavy has 20 catches for 284 yards. Hillsborough's JOHN BANACISKI leads the league in rushing yards with 504.
A big matchup in Mid-State 38 - Delaware this week will be when Phillipsburg takes on Bridgewater-Raritan. The Stateliners are currently in fourth, while the Panthers are in second.
Hunterdon Central was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from eighth to sixth in the league. The Red Devils beat Westfield 49-14 earlier in the week.
