The Casa Roble Rams had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They pulled ahead with a 23-22 photo finish over Twelve Bridges. The win was nothing new for Casa Roble as they're now sitting on nine straight.
Casa Roble's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Connor Campbell, who rushed for 79 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, and also threw for 126 yards and a touchdown. The team also got some help courtesy of Braylen Blevins, who gained 103 total yards and a touchdown.
Casa Roble's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Twelve Bridges, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 12-1.
Casa Roble will head out on the road to face off against Soquel at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Soquel is on a four-game streak of home wins, Casa Roble a nine-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the field. Twelve Bridges does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
