Norton came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Holdrege Dusters. The Bluejays' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-8, 25-7.

Norton's offense was headlined by Alexis David and Audrey Bina, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Leah Clark and her ten assists.

Holdrege can attribute much of their success to Ellie Pelster, who had 12 digs and two assists. Pelster has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last ten times she's played.

Norton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Holdrege, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Norton will welcome Hill City on Tuesday. As for Holdrege, they will challenge Aurora on Tuesday.
