Eastern and Green are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Eastern is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.4 runs per game this season.
Eastern proved they can win big on Monday (they won by 18) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Unioto 5-4. The victory was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on three straight.

Leah Rader spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Lynnleigh McCollister, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Lydia Park was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Green never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They put the hurt on East with a sharp 6-0 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bobcats as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Green saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Baylee Bridges, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Another was Isabella Conley, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Eastern's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Green, their victory bumped their record up to 5-11.
Green's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Eastern has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .490. It's a different story for Green, though, as they've only averaged .302. Will they be able to contain Eastern's hitters?
Everything went Eastern's way against Green in their previous matchup on April 8th, as Eastern made off with a 14-2 win. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bobcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
