After four games on the road, Sierra Vista is heading back home. They will take on the Nogales Nobles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Wednesday, Sierra Vista got the win against the Aztecs by a conclusive 57-37.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sierra Vista to victory, but perhaps none more so than David Orozco, who scored 15 points. Aaron Buna was another key contributor, scoring six points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Nogales entered their tilt with the Falcons with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Nogales came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 54-43 on Wednesday.
Sierra Vista is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season. As for Nogales, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-13.
Sierra Vista skirted past the Nobles 46-44 when the teams last played last Monday. Does Sierra Vista have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Nobles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
