The Kimball Knights won the last time they faced the Wilson Wildcats, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Kimball managed a 49-43 victory over Wilson. The win made it back-to-back wins for Kimball.
Kimball found their leader in underclassman Kayden Gray, who scored 19 points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Jaylon Dean-vines, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Kimball pushed their record up to 11-11 with that win, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points per game. As for Wilson, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-11.
Kimball will head out on the road to square off against Jefferson at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Jefferson will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1440th, while Kimball is ranked 277th). As for Wilson, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against White at 7:30 p.m.
