After three games on the road, Bandys is heading back home. They will take on the West Caldwell Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
Last Friday, things could have been worse for Bandys, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 65-49 loss to Maiden.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Lexi Vaughan, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. She hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Kate Dutka was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, West Caldwell's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their tenth straight loss. They fell just short of Lincolnton by a score of 32-29. The contest was a 15-15 toss-up at halftime, but West Caldwell couldn't quite close it out.
Bandys' loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-10. As for West Caldwell, they dropped their record down to 1-19 with that defeat, which was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season.
Bandys strolled past West Caldwell in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 58-43. Does Bandys have another victory up their sleeve, or will West Caldwell turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
