Bridgeport waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They snuck past the Red River Rattlers with a 73-68 victory. The win was all the more spectacular given the Bulls' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 668th, while the Rattlers are ranked 301st).

Bridgeport pushed their record up to 8-6 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points per game. As for Red River, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.

Bridgeport won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Callisburg at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Callisburg will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Bridgeport surely won't give up without a fight. As for Red River, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Sacred Heart at 1:00 p.m. on December 26th.
