 Makenna Gallus paced Hanahan's offense, picking up ten kills. Gallus got some help from  Juliette Owens and her 32 assists. Gallus was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with three aces.
Hanahan's record is now 8-12-2. As for Orangeburg-Wilkinson, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record  this season.
 Hanahan and Orangeburg-Wilkinson should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage  in the MaxPreps South Carolina Rankings. The Hawks (ranked 98th) will meet Military Magnet Academy (ranked 213th)  at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. Meanwhile,  Orangeburg-Wilkinson will  challenge  North Charleston  at 6:45  p.m.  on Thursday with a big rank  advantage  (42 vs. 229).
