Softball Recap: Glenvar Extends Winning Streak to Four

While Glenvar put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Radford. The Highlanders blew past the Bobcats 18-0. Considering the Highlanders have won six matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Glenvar's fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Radford, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-13.

Coincidentally, Glenvar and Radford will both be playing James River the next time they take the field. The Highlanders will head out to face the Knights at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Bobcats will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
