After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Escondido, Bonsall was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the San Diego Academy Cavaliers as they made off with a 17-5 win. The result was nothing new for the Legionnaires, who have now won six matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Bonsall pushed their record up to 8-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.6 runs over those games. As for San Diego Academy, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bonsall will face off against St. Joseph Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Legionnaires are facing the Crusaders at the right time seeing as the Crusaders are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for San Diego Academy, they will square off against Liberty Charter at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
