TRANQUILLITY, Calif. -
Dos Palos (Calif.) didn't let up as Saturday's game came to a close, scoring 15 in the fourth quarter to seal a 36-6 victory over Tranquillity (Calif.).
The Broncos were up 14-0 at the half after taking the lead on a
Ryan Willis touchdown run in the first quarter.
Dos Palos expanded its lead to 15 points entering the fourth quarter. DP scored once in the quarter on a defensive touchdown.
Izzac Suarez played well for the Broncos in the victory. The junior running back ran for one touchdown.
The Tigers' lone touchdown came on an 80-yard pass in the third quarter.
Dos Palos had struggled this season, allowing 30.7 points per game.
DP also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 47-0.
With the win the Broncos extended their winning streak to three games.
In a West Sierra game next week Tranquillity (2-6) takes on Mendota, and Dos Palos (3-5) will go up against Coalinga also in a West Sierra game.
