Brison Abbott Goes Supernova in Bakersfield Victory
Bakersfield picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Brison Abbott. Abbott turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 168 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries.
Highland's probably not too fond of Abbott given he always seems to get the better of them. When Abbott last faced the Scots back in October of 2023, he rushed for 256 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 14.2 yards per carry.

Elijah Cavazos's big game helped extend Bakersfield's winning streak to six on Friday. Cavazos was unstoppable, throwing for 208 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes.
This year, Cavazos has thrown 12 touchdowns while averaging 169.2 passing yards per game.

Preston Mendez Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Preston Mendez posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns.
