Skyridge is  a perfect 10-0 against Westlake since October of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Falcons will take on the Thunder at 3:30  p.m. Skyridge is coming into the  match hot, having won their last six games.
While Skyridge's  victory against Skyline wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Falcons had just enough and edged out the Eagles  3-2 last Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win the Falcons have posted  since September 6th.
 Skyridge took Skyline into a fifth set  where they got it done with a seven-point win. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-21, 25-10, 23-25,  15-8.
Meanwhile,  two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Westlake walked away with it. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  3-2  victory over the Aviators  on Thursday.
 Westlake was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (106-103), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 26-24, 21-25, 25-22,  15-10.
 Westlake found their leader in freshman  Abbi Wood, who  had 15  digs and two  aces. Those 15  digs set a new season-high mark for  Wood. The team also got some help courtesy of  Leiema Fano, who  had five  digs and two  aces.
 Westlake picked up their first road  win, bumping their record up to 5-21. As for Skyridge, their victory bumped their record up to 24-2.
 Everything went Skyridge's way against Westlake when the teams last played  back in October of 2024, as Skyridge made off with  a  3-0 win. Will the Falcons repeat their success,  or do  the Thunder have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
