Lanesville is a perfect 3-0 against Christian Academy since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Eagles will be playing at home against the Warriors at 5:30 p.m. Lanesville is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.
Lanesville came out on top against South Central on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run first inning. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Rebels.
Makenna Mills made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in May of 2024. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.

In other batting news, Lanesville got a massive performance out of Madelyn Magner, who went 3-for-5 with two triples, three runs, and one stolen base. Those three runs gave Magner a new career-high. Brooklyn Albers was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
Meanwhile, Christian Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Clarksville on Thursday and fell 3-2. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Generals recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
Natalie McKain was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
Lanesville's victory bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
Everything went Lanesville's way against Christian Academy when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Lanesville made off with a 10-3 win. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
