Arickaree/Woodlin made easy work of Flagler/Hi-Plains on Saturday and carried off a 54-28 victory. Arickaree/Woodlin were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Arickaree/Woodlin's offense rushed out of the gates and came up with 24 first-half points. Flagler/Hi-Plains wasn't quite able to keep up, scoring 13 to make it 24-13 heading into the break. Arickaree/Woodlin put the match away in the third quarter with 24 points from the offense and eight points allowed from the defense. The win bumped their record up to 3-1. The loss dropped Flagler/Hi-Plains' record to 2-3.
Next week Arickaree/Woodlin take on Idalia at 1:00 PM. Arickaree/Woodlin will be strutting in after a victory while Idalia will be stumbling in from a defeat. As for Flagler/Hi-Plains, they will face off against Peetz. Flagler/Hi-Plains have seen their point totals decreasing over the past four games, a vulnerability Peetz are surely hoping to exploit.
