Cedar Springs managed to slip by Kenowa Hills the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Red Hawks lost 16-6 to the Knights on Monday. On the bright side, the six- run effort marked the Red Hawks' highest-scoring game to date.

Cedar Springs saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nicholas Robinson, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Mason Locke also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Cedar Springs' loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Kenowa Hills, they now have a winning record of 2-1-1.

While Cedar Springs had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
