The Biloxi Indians scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They breezed by Greene County at home to the tune of 68-28. Considering Biloxi has won four matches by more than 27 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Despite the loss, Greene County still got an impressive performance from Michael Gibson, who scored nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Egan Daley, who scored five points.
Even though they lost, Greene County were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. This was only their tenth loss (out of 12 games) when they hit their own glass that hard.
Biloxi has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Greene County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-13.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Hancock the next time they take the court. Greene County will host Hancock at 2:30 a.m. on Friday, while Biloxi will head out to face them at 2:30 a.m. on Thursday.
