It was a good run, but the Churchill Chargers unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 62-55 to Clark. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Leading Clark to victory were Jaden Flemons and Aiden Bolden. Flemons scored 16 points, while Bolden scored 18 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Luke Lopez, who scored seven points.
Churchill's loss dropped their record down to 13-16. As for Clark, their win bumped their record up to 17-13.
Churchill will head out on the road to square off against Reagan at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Churchill knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven matches -- so hopefully Reagan likes a good challenge. As for Clark, they will be playing in front of their home fans against SA Roosevelt at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. SA Roosevelt will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 538th, while Clark is ranked 236th).
