The Twentynine Palms Wildcats won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Wednesday. They were beaten by Indio 88-48. Twentynine Palms has struggled against the Rajahs recently, as their contest on Wednesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Twentynine Palms still got an impressive performance from Ayden O'Gilvie, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 rebounds. Brandon Evans was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five blocks.
Twentynine Palms' defeat dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Indio, they pushed their record up to 20-5 with that win, which was their ninth straight at home.
Twentynine Palms does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Indio will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Knights at 6:30 p.m.
