The Grayson Rams will head out on the road to face off against the Parkview Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in the nation (Grayson is ranked 58th, while Parkview is ranked 51st).
Grayson can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They blew past Archer 41-14 on the road. Winning may never get old, but Grayson sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Grayson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dylan Elder, who rushed for 166 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. Elder really tore up the turf during one magnificent 82-yard run. Kylan Fox also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Parkview didn't have too much trouble with Brookwood on the road on Friday as they won 43-24. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Parkview.
Among those leading the charge was Jaiden Jenkins, who rushed for 86 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries, and also threw for 98 yards and a touchdown.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 7-2.
Grayson came up short against Parkview in their previous meeting back in November of 2022, falling 28-21. Can Grayson avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
