The Wilson Wildcats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Sunset 96-29 on the road. The result was nothing new for Wilson, who have now won five games by 41 points or more so far this season.
Wilson was led to victory by Cyruss Evans and Jackson Townsend. Evans scored 12 points, while Townsend scored 18 points. Those 18 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Sam Mcmahon, who scored six points.
Wilson is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-8 record this season. As for Sunset, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.
Wilson and Panther Creek will round out the year against one another at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday at. Hopefully Panther Creek focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Tuesday. As for Sunset, they will face off against Dallas Lutheran at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
