The John Paul II Golden Warrriors scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 80-28 victory over Beaufort Academy. John Paul II has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 22 points or more this season.
Brady Mahoney continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 30 points and 16 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Savannah Trott, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds.
John Paul II pushed their record up to 12-5 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.6 points per game. As for Beaufort Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. John Paul II will take on the Dolphins at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Beaufort Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against the Mighty Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Holy Trinity Classical Christian comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
