Their game two weeks ago wasn't at all kind to Davenport North, but their most recent match may have softened the blow. They were able to grind out a solid victory over Davenport West last week, winning 22-10.
Meanwhile, Linn-Mar had victory within their grasp but couldn't quite capture it as the squad lost 16-17 to Urbandale.
Davenport North's win lifted them to 4-1 while Linn-Mar's loss dropped them down to 1-4. We'll find out if Davenport North can add another positive mark to their record or if Linn-Mar can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Davenport North's step.
